Out in podunk visiting, t ook a short walk in the old neighborhood.
This will buff right out:
Wood, rad?
Also the other day on the road, within an hour, saw a Datsun 310 wagon, an early Corolla Tercel sedan, and the crown jewel, a B210 fastback (guilty pleasure) in less than an hour, all running and driving in roadworthy condition. Gotta love this climate.
That is all.

The Lexus looks about as dinged up as my Uber from DFW the other day. Some sketchy cars and drivers on Uber in Dallas for some reason. Not nearly as dangerous as the Uber drivers in LA, but man they are always questionable.

That t-boned Lexus makes me sad ... that’s an easy fix, buying 2 doors at a junkyard and having them painted.

My RAV4 looked like that after my wreck, but the window also shattered, too. It was over $4,000 in damage.

I dunno if it’s that simple. Not sure if it’s just a shadow in the photo but it looks like the quarter panel and then the lower rocker panels are buckled. Whatever hit it looks like it was enough to slam into the intrusion bar of the rear door, maybe the front as well. Could end up being a little worse than it looks.

I suspect for that rig, some might count it as a total.

More podunk, more west.

Sounds like a taxi I had in Vegas several years ago, a Caravan I had a feeling was a poorly repaired write-off. Scary driving, too,

It hasn’t moved in the few days I have been here. Hopefully not terminal damage, but who knows.

I think Zoidberg could use those wheels ...

The wire wheel hubcap look from the woody would be even more interesting.

That’s terminal. My Lexus RX got hit in nearly the same manner and the insurance company took it instead of try to fix it. If it intruded into the door reinforcement between the front and rear, then that whole section needs to be sectioned out and replaced. At least on the RX, there’s 3 pieces of sheet steel that has to be cut out and welded back depending on how deep the damage goes. This is what needs to be done:

That’s’ a shame. Yeah, I can imagine if the B-pillar is damaged, the car is toast. Roughly 15 years old, just doesn’t take much to total.
